The National Contact Point for Knowledge Security is a service offered by the Dutch government that ensures international collaboration occurs safely, balancing opportunities and risks while respecting academic values.
International collaboration can raise questions. Questions relating to the undesirable transfer of knowledge, ethical issues such as the misuse of research results, or covert influencing of higher education and science by state actors.
Perhaps you would like to check in which sectors you need to be particularly vigilant with regard to international collaboration. Or you would like to know how to assess the risk profile of a country, or what information you need to take into account when recruiting and selecting new employees.
Do you work for a knowledge institution? And do you have questions about international collaboration? Or perhaps you may need to balance opportunities and (security) risks? If so, contact the National Contact Point for Knowledge Security. We have a great deal of expertise in this area and will be happy to advise you if you are struggling with these types of issues. This will allow you to make informed decisions and take measures to increase your resilience.
